The current state of the art in conventional U.S. buildings is to turn on the air conditioning when some part of the building is too hot and turn on the heat when it is too cold – often running the heating and cooling system at the same time. Greensleeves system uses a building automation system with sensors that identify where energy is needed and where it is available. The energy distribution system picks up that energy and transfers it to where it is needed.
